Adult Safe-T
One of the biggest problems for the emergency services is trying to identify unconscious
or confused people to whom they have to attend, including adults. The problem
is escalated if the person is alone, is travelling, or is taken ill suddenly and isn't
carrying any identification or their identification has been lost or stolen
This service is ideal for able-bodied individuals such as keen walkers or those
travelling abroad such as students taking a year out from studying. The service
could also be used by companies for their employees as part of their anti-terrorism
policy.
Adult Safe-T has been designed for use by anyone over the age of 16 years. This
service can be used without the need for a mobile phone. Optionally the
user could upgrade to either of our Travel Safe-T
or Personal Safe-T services.
The registered adult member is issued with a series of keyrings bearing their name,
member id, any medical condition(s) the member may have, and the number of our support
centre to call in the event of an emergency. The idea is for the emergency
services staff to call us to find out more about the person, including their in
case of emergency contact (ICE) details. These keyrings can be clipped to
house keys, car keys, rucksacks, jackets, or anything else associated with the member.
A similar service
is applicable for people suffering from Alzheimers, dementia, or for those who have
difficulty in communicating with others.
with no hidden
costs.
This service is so new that our registration website is not yet ready to accept
