As part of our product offering Alert Limited have developed the
Lone Worker Safe-T service, or 'Amber Alert'. This service incorporates the
standard 'Red Alert' of Business Safe-T but in addition offers the facility for
our members to make a call in to our support centre before embarking on a journey,
or before making that appointment with a stranger.
The members can leave as much detailed information about their journey or appointment
as they wish, along with the expected time of completion when we would be expecting
them to call in again to cancel the 'Amber Alert'. If they don't call in when
expected to do so, we follow your company's procedures until the situation has been
satisfactorily resolved.
Unlike other lone worker solutions where the member is expected to logon and logoff,
our Lone Worker Safe-T is available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks
of the year. If the member is called to an emergency in the middle of the
night or to make a site or home visit they do not have to even contemplate having
to remember to login to our system. Similarly they do not have to remember
to logout at the end of their shift. The service is available to them at any
time of night or day, even when they are not working!
Our Lone Worker Safe-T solution can be used with any type of device (see the
devices section for current offerings), and an employer can add and remove (de-activate)
employees as required. The solution is extremely flexible and accomodates
all budgets and detailed requirements.
The Lone Worker Safe-T service is suitable for all types of professions, including
those in the following non-exhaustive list:
