Phone4 Safe-T
This service has been developed to help people who may be vulnerable in some way,
either through ill health, disability, or because they live alone. Phone4 Safe-T
is a service that incorporates an alarm system, complete with pendant, and is plugged
in to the telephone socket within the home.
The registered member wears the pendant
around the neck, pressing the alarm button on the pendant if they require assistance, triggering a call into our 24*7*365 alarm
receiving centre via a pre-programmed dedicated number.
Our support team operator
will then open a two-way voice channel to deal with the situation,
summoning the relevant help. This relatively low-cost alarm is shown below.
Please note that the Phone4 Safe-T service and alarm system can be used even if
you go to stay with relatives or friends for a period of time. All you have
to do is:
- You just either update your details on our database or call us and we'll update
your details for you
- Specify the new telephone number and address of your new location
- Plug the alarm into the telephone socket at the new location
- Your new telephone number is matched to your details in our database if you press
the alarm, giving you exactly the same level of cover that you receive in your own
home
- Once you return home update the details in our database again
Extending The Phone4 Safe-T
This
service can be extended
even further by adding the Checking Safe-T service.
This includes two daily telephone calls from our support team to
the member, one first thing in the morning and the other last thing at night, checking
to ensure the safety and well-being of the member. Please contact us for further information about
